Hello, World!

My name is Finley and today is a big day!  It’s my birthday!  And, it’s also the day my mom promised that I could begin exploring the great big wide world of the interwebs.  So, here I am!  Writing to you from my very own blog!  And do I ever have A LOT to say!

Where to start…well you already know it’s my birthday.  Outside of finally getting some “screen time” tonight, it’s been a pretty low key day: I slept in, had my usual breakfast, it was rather cloudy so I took another nap and wound up having a late lunch.  My mom did give me a nice piece of cake after dinner, which I tore right into.  All I can say is that I certainly enjoyed it while it lasted.   I suppose this is a good time to point out that I am of the canine persuasion, so my perspective on things may be a little different at times.

My mom says that despite my young age (2), I am very expressive and surely have a lot of opinions on my life and the things around me!  I can’t wait to share it all with you, but it looks like I have an awful lot to learn about this “blogging” stuff. For now, I am just going to call this a “start” and see where it goes!
